This chipset was ubiquitous in early 2010s notebooks from brands like HP, Acer, ASUS, Dell, and Lenovo. However, with the rollout of Windows 10 (and now Windows 11), many users face a frustrating problem: the Wi-Fi adapter stops working, disappears from Device Manager, or constantly disconnects.
