What is a LUT and a HALD?

A Look-Up Table (LUT) is a file containing math instructions to replace a color by another one.
This process is done pixel by pixel, that gives a very high accuracy.

A HALD is a 3D LUT converted into 2D image as JPG or PNG file.
The HALD is a pattern containing all color values (pixels) for a specific size of grid.
Bigger is the grid, better color accuracy is the output generated LUT.

A: Check P2 setting. For external speed sensor, ensure magnet passes sensor within 5mm.

A: Only if your controller is rated for 52V. The Kt 70 will read up to 60V but may show inaccurate battery bars. Set P3=4 (auto-detect) and monitor actual voltage. Kt 70 Installation Manual

Meta Description: Looking for the official Kt 70 Installation Manual? This complete guide covers wiring, display settings, PAS levels, torque sensor calibration, and common error codes for the KT-70 LCD display. Introduction The KT-70 (Kt 70) is one of the most popular LCD displays used in the aftermarket electric bike (e-bike) conversion world. Manufactured by Kunteng (KT), this display is the control center for many sensor-based controller setups, particularly those using torque simulation (T_Sensor) and speed sensors. A: Check P2 setting

A: The controller isn’t sending speed signal. Check hall sensor wire or external speed sensor connection. Conclusion This Kt 70 Installation Manual has covered everything from pinouts and wiring to advanced torque sensor calibration. A properly installed Kt 70 transforms a generic e-bike kit into a responsive, informative riding experience. The Kt 70 will read up to 60V
